Then She Found Me
Due to be released April 25th, Then She Found Me is star-studded with some of my absolute favorites; Helen Hunt, Bette Midler, Colin Firth, and even Matthew Broderick.
Directed by Helen Hunt, the movie is based upon the eponymous first novel by writer Elinor Lipman, the film tells the funny and moving story of one woman’s very unlikely path towards personal fulfillment.
In my opinion, this is a phenomenal debut for Hunt, a poignant and intriguing character herself. The film gets mixed reviews on the adoption issues though so it is worth a look.

I LOVED the book Then She Found Me. I thought Lipman’s characters were wonderful and very cute. I’m not one to appreciate the “reunion” type stories when it comes to adoption, but this one is definitely the exception.
