Nicole Richie to Make Things Right
Richie says that getting pregnant “inspired her to mend her relationship with her biological parents”.
“It wasn’t an overnight decision, but actually, yes,” she told Billy Bush in a two-part interview that begins airing on “Access Hollywood” Tuesday night. “When I found out that I was pregnant, there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had with my parents in the past, because listen, I have put them through a lot.”
“Of course, you just want to heal any wounds before I become a mother myself,” she added.
Apparently, despite rumors, she does know her biological mother and her biological father is musician Pete Escavedo, brother of Sheila E. (but this was later denied) Lionel Richie became her guardian at age two and later adopted her.
Currently, Richie and Joel Madden have founded the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation to support mothers in need. The foundation will work to donate items like cribs, strollers, and other goods. Their first donation will be 100 Mom-to-be kits to the LA free clinic.

Congratulaions!!!!
Just be the Best Mom you can be. Their is no Book on the right or wrong of being the Best Parent. Love your baby girl the way you always wanted to be loved. Make a mends with your biological parents as the press says you have planned, Once you forgive them you will have learned the gift of true forgivness, something you can teach your daughter when she grows up, you will also feel a weight off your heart. It is OK to forgive them as maybe it was a more selfish act for your real parents to have raised you. Remember life is not about you any more, it is about your baby & you. Your going to have the greatest time in your life from now on, cherish every moment.
