Life, Disconnected
About two weeks ago I took my cell phone into the store to see if they had a new charger for me because mine had broken after months of falling from its lovely perch atop the plug-in.
There was no charger available because my particular phone has issues with the charger and the store had already given out or sold all the ones they had (and they no longer make that charger anymore).
So, I took my phone to my parents house to charge it, as my father has the same phone. After it charged my father gave it to my mother to give to me.
She, in turn, lost it.
We have not recovered it and I have not had a cell phone in almost two weeks. It has not bothered me until today.
Until today I felt relieved, free, and a little out of touch. It was a good thing. Today, during the midst of our house reconstruction I feel disconnected and lost, running places in my car when I could easily be picking up a phone (but our house phone is disconnected as well).
I am desperately hoping that tomorrow I will be getting a new phone.
You can read more about our house plans and see more fabulous pictures at My Two Boys. It is an overhaul.

I have never owned a cell phone. Truly, one can live without one! Enjoy the silence, rather than sweating over the lack of interruptions!

I finally got one yesterday and I keep forgetting to take it with me. Shows you how much I actually need it, right?
